Diablo Pablo's AH and farming tips!

Hello everyone.  So you've probably been playing the Auction House in Diablo 3 since it's release, and maybe trying to make some money on the Real Money Auction House to buy you a nice sandwich (or some equally luxurious item).  There's no shame in it, everyone's been trying to and some have been succeeding more than others.  Diablo Pablo fortunately has been kind enough to share videos he's been making on Youtube for just this very money-making opportunity.  In his videos he shows examples of ways to flip items on the Auction House that are undervalued and selling them for either more gold, or that lovely real life cash.  I've personally learned a lot from Diablo Pablo's videos and they have helped me make quite a bit of gold and cash.

And this is not all!  Diablo Pablo in his helpful ways has also put together some videos about efficient ways to farm gear and gold in Inferno, because lets face it, who doesn't want better gear and more gold?  So head on over to Diablo Pablo's Youtube channel and learn how to improve your farming and Auction House skills at Diablo 3!

Monk Inferno solo Belial kill

Here I am playing a Monk in Inferno soloing Belial with 5stacks of Nephalem Valor showing that crazy stats like 700 resist all, 6k armor, and 40k health are not required to progress through Act 2.
In this video I kill Belial with:
  • 450 resist all
  • 5k armor
  • 35k health
  • 25k DPS
The key to this is using LoH (Life on Hit) and a good shield when needed.  By getting just one weapon with about 500-600 LoH on hit you should have no trouble soloing all of Act 2.  Also quite important but underrated by many is a really good shield with high block chance, and high block amount, I use the highest block amount shield (Sanctified) with 27% block chance.  This is important because you can block nearly any attack; melee, ranged, magic.  I dual wield through most of Act 2 but switch to shield with difficult affix champion packs and some bosses.

Be a Ranged Barbarian in Inferno

JCLe has come up with a way for the Barbarian class to work at ranged, offering a different build and play style for Barbarians to try when going through Inferno difficulty, as opposed to the defensive revenge-based play style.  He's done an amazing job with the build, analyzing all the itemization, mechanics, and math behind the build to perfect it.  All of his findings and a guide on how to play the build can be found here.

Make some quick gold in Diablo 3!

Need to make some quick gold?  Who am I kidding, of course you do!  Well there's a great little farming spot in Act 1 - Inferno that could earn you up to 300k gold an hour if you have some quality gold find gear, and if not it's still a great place for some quick gold.  As we see in the video, ezradominic loads Act 1 - Part 2 "Explore Cellar" where he checks to see if the Dank Cellar has spawned, which always has an Elite mob that drops a large amount of gold and a few blue items/gems.  If the dungeon is not spawned, just portal back to town, leave game then resume game, and repeat.  It's very quick, easy, and doesn't require insane gear in order to do.

U.S Real-Money Auction House Now Available!

The Real-Money Auction House is here! It's finally been launched after nearly a full month of being pushed back, according to Blizzard this time was needed to iron out some problems with the Auction House. And as anyone might have guessed, the RMAH is being flooded with items listed at outrageous prices; upwards of 100$ US for some items! Which when you consider that 1 million gold has been being sold for anywhere around 7$-9$ on other sites and on the Diablo 3 forums, you can see how inflated these prices are. So if anyone has been hoping to try and make some money from the RMAH now is the time, until the inflated prices start to drop and settle down to a more reasonable average.

Now you might be wondering how to get started using the RMAH, well its fairly simple.  Once you open up the normal Auction House window there's a button on the top right that says, "USD."  Just simple click that and your AH will switch to Real-Money.  However from that point there isn't too terribly much to do yet, in order for you to buy anything you must first add funds to your Battle.net account.  This is the first way Blizzard is making money from you (after your initial purchase of Diablo 3 that is).  In order to add funds to your account you must click the green + sign at the top of the RMAH window, this opens a webpage and directs you to Battle.net where you must login and are then able to purchase money (sounds counter-intuitive doesn't it?) to buy items/gold.  You are given a few options of what "packages" you can purchase; 10$, 20$, 50$, and 100$.  You can expect to see your money show up on your account anywhere from instantaneous to 3 days after your purchase.

So you've bought some money so you can deck out your character and finally be able to beat Act 3 and 4 on Inferno, but how do you use it?  That part is easy, simply find the item you want, then bid on it or buy it out.  Congratulations! You've bought you're first RMAH item!  Now don't be discouraged if your item doesn't show up immediately for you to use, there can be a review process while the transaction is processing(as we are dealing with real money now), but have no fear your item should show up "soon."

However as for now all buying and selling of gold in exchange for real money is unavailable as Blizzard lets the RMAH stabilize and monitors the transactions and how the RMAH actually plays out and effects the game.  Until that time enjoy the RMAH as it is and get farming!  There's monies to be made!
